X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation used in medical imaging to view the inside of the body, particularly bones and dense tissues. When X-rays pass through the body, denser materials like bone absorb more radiation and appear white on the resulting image, while softer tissues absorb less and appear in varying shades of gray. This makes X-rays an invaluable tool for examining bone fractures, lung conditions, and other internal abnormalities.

Radiography
Benefits of X-Ray:
- Quick and Painless: X-rays are a fast and non-invasive method to diagnose various conditions.
- Bone and Structural Imaging: They are particularly useful for detecting bone fractures, and joint dislocations, and monitoring bone health.
- Identifying Lung and Chest Problems: X-rays can diagnose pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer by revealing abnormalities in the chest as a first step.
- Guiding Treatments: X-rays help doctors in surgical planning and in guiding treatments like fracture repair or placing medical devices.
